To move the kayak at about 5 mph is going to require about 0.1 hp of effort.Which is going to use up about 400 calories per hour.  And so, four hours of paddling is going to burn up about 1600 calories!  A weight watcher's dream!

Work Continues To Benefit Swiss Creek Plantation

The Lake at Swift Creek is being shaped and the haulers are in and out all day.  Dirt is being moved at lighting speed!  The Creekfront property has been cleared and looks fantastic!  I will forward pictures to all later.  The entrance looks great and we will be moving dirt up by the road to create a beautiful sculptured and landscaped berm to blend the contour of the land along to the entrance gates and fencing. The beauty of Swift Creek is coming to light!  Clearing of the outdoor pavillion has begun and work will be commencing on that portion of the amenity center as soon as permits and clearing has completed.
